A long-term research program covering the next four years has been proposed, in which it intends to develop several research projects, by progressive phases, in which it proposes: - Expand existing infrastructure oriented to the measurement of meteorological parameters, variables environmental and atmospheric phenomena, both for teaching and research, with undergraduate and graduate students. - Include new atmospheric parameters for measurement in the FMAES station. - To design and present new undergraduate programs, Postgraduate (masters and / or doctorate) in Natural Sciences in which it is included in addition to the area of research in Physics of the Environment and Solar Energy of the University District, directed to professionals of the Natural Sciences and / or Engineering, to strengthen the training of researchers in these areas. - Present and develop research proposals in areas such as Physics (or sciences) of the Environment, Solar Energy and its applications, renewable energies, energy management, or atmospheric studies. - Technologically consolidate research lines. - Establish at least two cooperation agreements with national and / or international entities and with other interdisciplinary and inter-institutional working groups, which allow the extension of the area of knowledge, both in teaching and research, through cooperation networks. - Establish bridges of national and international cooperation, based on networks of exchange and cooperation for the development of proposals and research projects aimed at solving environmental problems of global character and social impact. - Link annually at least four undergraduate and at least two graduate students (master's or doctoral) through programs, areas and lines of research, through the development of works and thesis of degree. - Develop and implement programs and curricula.
To train professional researchers from science and technology, ethics and responsible to value and quantify aspects of the environmental crisis, socialize their results, propose solutions and promote the care of the environment and the application of clean renewable energy sources. - Develop proposals for Teaching and research in Environmental Physics, Solar Energy and its applications, as well as renewable energies. - Develop a basic infrastructure oriented to the measurement of meteorological parameters, environmental variables and atmospheric phenomena. - To design a postgraduate program (masters and / or doctorate) in Environmental Physics and Solar Energy, associated to a new Faculty in the District University, directed to professionals of the Natural Sciences and / or Engineering, for the strengthening of the permanent training of teachers and researchers in the country, in the areas cited or related areas, with the support of national and international entities. - Formulate the proposals for the provision of a basic infrastructure oriented to the measurement of meteorological parameters, environmental variables and atmospheric phenomena, both for teaching and for research, with undergraduate and graduate students. - To propose and to develop technologically the lines of investigation. - Establish cooperation agreements with other interdisciplinary and inter-institutional working groups, which will allow the extension of the area of knowledge, both in teaching and research, at national and international level. - Establish inter-institutional research and development agreements with interdisciplinary groups of both higher education institutions and national or international research institutes. - To create bridges of national and international cooperation for the solution of social environmental problems. - Contribute in the consolidation of scientific communities.
Science, Technology, Education and the Environment, for the care and preservation of the planet Earth and the assurance of the welfare of society. Through research, the preparation and training of professionals in basic sciences and engineering, so that based on scientific and technological knowledge at the service of society, develop and transform into a responsible relationship of man and the environment. It is through the training of students linked to the research activity in research projects, specialized courses and undergraduate thesis work and, where possible, at the postgraduate and doctoral level, that the group's mission will be fulfilled. At present, we study and investigate specific issues on the development of Data Acquisition Systems of meteorological parameters, environmental variables and atmospheric phenomena for environmental crisis valuation using theoretical and computational methods.
